Today me and my group were searching for CD covers to get some inspiration, we came across the above one which we liked, we all agreed that we will be using a projector just like the above pic on our CD cover and this is something that would correlate with our music video as we used projectors in our music video.

Final Music Video
This is our completed music video. Due to unfortunate circumstances we were not able to get hold of the colour smoke bombs so we did not use it for our music video.

Editing Day Fifteen
After taking into consideration the audience feedback we decided to cut some of the car scene so that it isn't too long, we decided not to take out all of the car scene as we felt that it fits in nicely with our music video as the car gives our music video an urban feel (our genre) and also looks professional. Furthermore, it correlates with the lyrics. We added in establishing shots at the start in black and white so that the first scene is black and white. We brightened up the black and white shots as we felt that they were too dark. After, we went over the whole music video and was content with the outcome so we decided to convert the whole music video to Quick Time, we are hoping to upload our music video onto YouTube next lesson.

Rough Cut Screening Feedback
Here is the video of the audience feedback. Overall we got good feedback which we were pleased about. We got told that we had a few lip synching issues in which we agreed with, this was later on resolved as we fixed this issue straight after the feedback was given. We had mixed reviews on the car scene. After the feedback, me and my group decided that we do not want to take out car scene as we feel that it fits in nicely with our music video as the car gives our music video an urban feel (our genre) and also looks professional. Furthermore, it correlates with the lyrics. However, it is vital that we take our audience feedback into consideration as we need to suit the audience wants so we decided that we will be making the car scene shorter and adding in establishing shots of locations so that the car scene is not that long. Overall, I would say that the audience feedback was very helpful as it will help in improving our music video and audience feedback is vital as it helps with knowing the opinions of others and making sure you meet their requirement as an audience.

Editing Day Fourteen
Today, we carried on synching the footage with the track, we filled in the missing bits which is supposed to be for the colour smoke bomb however, they have not arrived yet, so for the time being we filled in the gaps with other footage, so that we are ready for the screening on Monday. We also added a wipe effect on the start of the car scene and also our last shot.

Editing Day Thirteen
Today, we had a problem with the sparkler footage as it was coming out fuzzy randomly however, we deleted that and cut in into that specific footage again and as a result, the problem was solved as the footage was clear again. We also got rid of some blank screens between the shots as it looked unprofessional. We also added in some fades in some of the shots so that the transition is smooth rather than rapid which would make our video professional.

Editing Day Eleven
Today we carried on synching the track with the footage. We added the sparklers footage in, which we edited so that it is in slow motion. We also added white text to the car scene, which was the title of the track and the artists name. We also brightened up the excel footage as we felt that they were too dark.

Filming Day Five
Today was our fifth day of filming. We checked the weather beforehand and we were pleased to see that it wouldn't be raining and this was the case. The first location we went to was Mile End skate park We didn't get to film where we wanted because there was a lot of skaters however, we found a good place to film afterwards in the skatepark where there was no one skating and was a lot of nice graffiti. We thought that the graffiti complimented our actors clothing so we decided to take a few sample shots for our cd cover. We then went of to film next to excel. When we were creating the storyboards we weren't initially going to use excel however after few days of editing, we realised that the track was repetitive and as a result we thought some of the verses that weren't choruses were choruses, we wanted the footage to be the same for the same choruses, however a certain verse was not a chorus so we planned on shooting this verse near excel which is exactly what we did. We knew we wanted the location to be filmed at night because the lights would really set the scene so that's why we decided to shoot the Mile End skate park scene first so that it would become dark as we were heading to near excel. We had to use our torch on our phones so that the actors face would come up on the camera clearly. We had our storyboards with us and we ensured that we stuck to it and as a result, finished the filming quickly. We all had team roles (listed in a post below) in which we all stuck to. Overall, I would say that it was a very productive day of filming as we filmed a few extra shots for the cd cover which will make us ahead of timings.

Editing Day Six
Today we decided to edit the car scene so that it looks black and white as we had planned to. We did this by pressing effects and then desaturate. After desaturating the shots from the car scene, we realised that the shots were too dark, so we increased the brightness using the brightness tool. We also brightened some parts of the studio scene to make the shots brighter as they were too dark due to using the black backdrop. However, after changing the brightness we were satisfied with the lighting. We are hoping to edit further, by adding in close-up of the cars and also, changing the brightness etc...
Call sheet (Filming Day Five)
Unfortunately we did not find extra actors for the Mile End scene so we came to a decision that our music video will be performance based, the actor will lip synch in this scene.

We are planning to shoot the Mile End Skate Park scene and the Excel scene on this day. We will return the camera on Monday 9th November.

Editing Day Four
Today, we finished off synching the car scene and because we haven't shooted our Mile End scene yet, we had to leave that bit blank and we started synching bits of the Oxford street and Jubilee bridge scene.
